"Teaching is a calling, and for me that calling was more compelling than a mere ringing in the ears. Teaching is about instilling critical thinking skills and great ideas into the minds of those who might use these as weapons to benefit society.

It is especially rewarding to see the light bulb turn on in someone who has never been to a museum before, or contemplated the seemingly intangible merits of art."
